2013 New Years Resolutions.- 13 for 2013

It's that time again to make New Year resolutions that we probably wont keep yet we make them every year regardless. So here are my resolutions for the year to come.

To loose the rest of my baby weight
I want to loose around 2st but as long as I can fit in my size 10 jeans again I will be happy.

To start swimming with Thomas
I want to start going on one of my days off in the week

Read with Thomas every night
This one is pretty self explanatory. Thomas has soooo many books so we need to start reading them.

To complete the 100 day spending ban

To complete the Good reads reading challenge

To carry on with my blogging
I truly love my little blog and I want 2013 to be the year it starts to grow.

To complete Project 365
Nicola from http://www.nicolalifethroughmyeyes.com/and I will be trying to complete Project 365 this year and will be spurring each other on and will be linking up to do weekly updates.

Finish off Thomas's first year scrapbook.
I am so far behind on this now as with Thomas around and being more mobile now I just don't get chance to do it. This next year though I am going to take more time to sit down and complete it.
Keep a diary
I will be keeping a diary to document day to day life but also to get my life a bit more organised and I also want to write at least one good thing that has happened a day.
Spend more quality time with David
By the sounds of it Davids working life could be getting busier in the next year so we will have to make our time together a bit more special. I also want to have at least one night a month where we can go out alone and have a bit of Sarah and David time.
Cut down on take aways/ Fast food
After all if I want to loose weight I will have to cut these out. I think I will also make it part of my spending ban.
Organise our house
I need to make the consious effort to spend at least 1 hour a day on house work. If I do this everything will get done and so I wont need to spend ages cleaning up on 1 day if I slip up.

We seriously need to declutter in our house before we get to big for the house.

  1. i love this, these are realistic resolutions... i need to do some myself! xx

    1. I'm hoping I can keep up with them the hardest one is going to be loosing the weight I have no willpower at all

  2. I agree here with Natalie... Very realistic and very honest resolutions that can definitely be stuck too! (I tried reading the 100 day spending ban but couldn't link it? sounds intriguing!) Good Luck!!

    1. Thank you for pointing that out I will fix it now x
